This year marks the seventeenth year of the Afghan people’s captivity under the US and NATO’s occupation, and their local lackeys’ rule. It is now clear for all Afghans, except those whose eyes and conscience have been blinded with money and power, that the US’s military invasion has pushed our people deeper into the quagmire of war, bloodshed, corruption and misfortune, and has turned our country into a dangerous battlefield of imperialist rivalries. The US occupiers and its allies attacked our tormented land under the beautiful slogans of ‘democracy’, ‘war against terrorism’, ‘women’s rights’ and ‘reconstruction’, but it was clear from the very beginning that they were victimizing our war-ridden nation with their dark plans yet again, for their own strategic and economic interests. The seventeen years of the military presence of the US and NATO are the darkest of our country’s history, marked with the massacre of hundreds and thousands of our people; empowerment of dangerous terrorist gangs; turning Afghanistan into the most corrupt country of the world with the highest production and trafficking of opium and heroin; looting of our untouched minerals; increment of the gap between the rich and poor; brutal oppression of women and misuse of their miseries; mass exodus of our hopeless and unemployed youth; and countless other misfortunes.
Recently, Hamid Karzai, the Third Shah Shujah of our country, Hanif Atmar, and their fellow traitors such as Mohaqiq, Khalili, Qanouni, Ahmad Wali Massoud, Said Mansor Nadiri, Zarar Ahmad Moqbil, Spanta, Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal, Said Hamid Gelani, Wahidullah Sabawoon, Anwar-ul-Haq Ahadi, Sadiq Mudabir, Din Mohamad Jurat, Qutbuddin Helal, Abdullah Qarleq, Din Mohammad, and others who have been disowned by their masters, gathered in Sibghatullah Mujadadi’s house and asked for the revision of the Bilateral Security Agreement with the US. Shamelessness has a limit, but not in our country’s traitors. The filthy traitors who were scrambling to sell Afghanistan to the US yesterday, changed their stand in a day when they were given lesser love by their US masters, and sought to serve new masters. Wasn’t Spanta the one who prepared the text of this document with the Americans, and shamelessly counted it as one of the honors of his life? Sibghatullah Mujadadi, like his evil ancestors, announced at the closing ceremony of the BSA Loya Jirga that if this document is not signed, he will leave the country. Hanif Atar, an expert in selling himself out, added another shameful blot to his dark career by signing this shameful document. Hamid Karzia and his minions, who landed in Arg in the US’s B52s, and danced to the tunes of the US for fifteen years and implemented the evil plans of the West, is now trying to fool our nation with his sickening anti-American gestures. He may fool his lapdogs and some idiots, but not our people who have burned in the oppression of the master and its lackeys.
There are rumors within the high ranks of the US war-monger government that it plans to privatize the war in Afghanistan and intensify the current bloodshed. This plan was proposed by Erik Prince, founder of Blackwater, last year when the US was announcing its “new strategy” for Afghanistan. The infamous security company committed such heinous crimes in Iraq that it was forced to leave that country and even change its name. Although the US occupier forces tried to hide their inhumane plans and actions, some of their crimes cracked out, and with the privatization, these crimes will increase and cause further insecurity and killings. Privatization of war means more killings of innocent people, in return for more money.
Until Afghanistan is under US government’s military, economic and political occupation, the funding and arming of barbarous groups like the Taliban, ISIS, warlords, and other mercenaries will continue, not just by the US, but also by its regional rivals. This will naturally escalate war and terrorism, not just in our country but in neighboring countries and the whole region. Cutting off the bloody hands of Pakistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other infamous governments can only be done with an organized struggle for independence.
The Solidarity Party of Afghanistan (SPA) believes that no foreign power can be the messenger of peace and prosperity, especially the US government which has a history of killing, destruction, looting and bloodshed, and which has brought misery to every country it has stepped foot in.
With consciousness and mobilization, we must become an unrelenting force against religious and non-religious reactionary lackeys, and their occupier masters! Only an independence-seeking and democratic force which has the backing of the masses, can free Afghanistan from the current hellfire.
