Protest of the Solidarity Party against murder of Dr. Nakamura and his colleagues

December 6, 2019 - KABUL: Some members of the Solidarity Party of Afghanistan marched in front of the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul, condemning the murder of Dr. Tetsu Nakamura and five of his Afghan colleagues. They declared ISI and its Afghan criminal lackeys responsible for the killing of this noble friend of the people of Afghanistan and chanted slogans against them, who have caused endless suffering to our people over the past four decades.

Ms. Belquis Roshan an Afghan MP, a true representative of the Afghan people in parliament, stated in part of her speech:

"I extend my condolences to Dr. Nakamura's family and to the people of Japan and Afghanistan. On the invitation of the Solidarity Party, I participated in this program today to defend the blood of this friend of the people of Afghanistan and five of his colleagues. Dr Nakamura came to our country leaving his comfortable life and made our plain deserts green. The Pakistani government is involved in the assassination of Dr. Nakamura, because Pakistan does not want to be deprived of Afghan waters. The government of Afghanistan, if there is a bit of honor, should hold the blood of these innocent people accountable! "

The protesters, who carried placards featuring the images of Dr. Nakamura and his colleague Kazuya Ito, who was also martyred in Khewa district of Nangarhar, welcomed Ms. Roshan with their passionate applause. In addition, the placards included slogans in Persian, Pashto, Japanese and English:

"The ISI and its Taliban mercenaries are the killers of Dr. Nakamura and his colleagues!", "The people of Afghanistan are taking revenge on the blood of our martyrs Dr. Nakamura and Kazuya Ito!", "The killers of Dr. Nakamura and his colleagues must be immediately arrested and punished!", "Dr. Nakamura, true friend of the people of Afghanistan!", "Japanese people, we are ashamed to fail to protect Dr. Nakamura!", "Dr. Nakamura lives in our hearts forever!", "Down With ISI, the enemy of Afghanistan’s development!" etc. Khalid, a member of the Solidarity Party who had lump to his throat, said:

"We are ashamed before the noble people of Japan for failing to protect their human son! We are ashamed to fail in Kaka Murad’s security. Someday if my child asks about human beings, I'll give Dr. Nakamura an example."

The march ended with the reading of parts of the party's statement written on this sad occasion.
