HDP elections campaign

SPA Message to HDP on Election Results in Turkey

Dear Members and Supporters of HDP,

The Solidarity Party of Afghanistan (SPA), representing freedom-loving and the most devastated people of the country, would like to congratulate Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) for its landmark victory in the June 7th election. Despite facing existentialist threats from the Hitlerite fascism of the ruling party –AKP, you showed great bravery and dedication which is a source of inspiration for us. Your victory is a joy not only for SPA but for all peace-loving and progressive forces around the world. Your success is a slap on the face of the fundamentalism that even their repugnant Ikhwani brothers are shedding tears here in Afghanistan.

We believe your success is not only a hope for the oppressed people of your country, but it is a gleam of hope for other oppressed nations of the world, especially of Islamic countries, where the occupier imperialist countries in close collaboration with their local vile minions are busy in shedding blood and rapacity. We believe so, because you insurrected against merchants of religion, whose soul-mate brothers are imposed on the bruised shoulders of our people since last 4 decades; you stood against those who consider woman only as a tool to satisfy their camel lust, and showed them the real power and position of women; your election manifesto can be a model for all democratic parties of the world.

We are hopeful that your presence in the parliament can pave the path for a real democracy and restoring secularism in Turkey, and be a pressure force on Turkish government to stop its meddling in other Middle Eastern Countries, in particular Afghanistan, where they have their military presence and support the most odious forces.

We shake hands of every comrade of HDP for their tireless struggle, efforts and sacrifices which led to a shining victory. We also pay homage to those who lost their lives during the election due to the terrorist attacks of the ruling party on your campaigns.

In solidarity,

Solidarity Party of Afghanistan (SPA)

SPA Message to HDP on the Eve of Elections

Dear Comrades of HDP,

The revolutionary history of Turkey is full of sacrifice and struggle for a better world free of oppression, rapacity and fundamentalism by the indomitable daughters and sons of this beautiful land. Your epic fight has been an inspiration and pride for all progressive and forward-thinking forces around the world.

The brouhaha of the current Turkish government for peace and democracy was unveiled during the siege on Kobani, when they closed the border to stop the innocent residents of Kobani flee the war, and kept on providing a safe corridor to ISIS -the bastard procreations of Erdoğan and his fundamentalist brothers and NATO’s imperialist governments. We believe without your moral support to Kobani warriors, life would have been much harsher for them. On behalf of revolutionary forces and people of Afghanistan, we express our gratitude to your support to Kobanians.

The fundamentalist and fascist government of Turkey, besides suppressing the freedom-loving people and forces of its own country, is playing a very dirty role in other countries as well, such as Afghanistan. Abdul Rashid Dostum, the notorious Afghan warlord who has committed war crimes in all regimes of last 30 years, is a blue-eyed son Turkish government. His name has been mentioned as one of the heinous war criminals in the HRW’s report on Afghanistan called Blood-Stained Hands, published in 2005; but today he is the 2nd Vice President of Afghanistan.

We are closely following Turkey’s 2015 general election. The Peoples' Democratic Party – HDP’s popularity has been so prodigious, that has forced the murderous ruling party to return to its known old nature of fundamentalism and spreading terror by directing bombings and attacks on your offices and threatening your campaigns. Indeed, they are afraid of HDP’s acceptance amongst workers and masses of Turkey, but they are forgetting that “The people united will never be defeated!”

We express our best wishes to Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) in the upcoming elections and hope for your further struggle to sway the path for elimination of religious, gender and racial discrimination, and restore secularism in Turkey. We are hoping not to see Turkish mothers witness the torture of their beloved ones in the hideous prisons of the country.

Free Mumia Abu-Jamal!

Mumia Abu-Jamal, the world symbol of resistance against oppression, is in medical danger and is not receiving the care he needs. With no history of diabetes, suddenly he suffers from high blood sugar and despite his life-threatening illness, he was hospitalized for only two days and later transferred back to prison. The US Government, having the highest number of prisoners in the world, is applying dirty methods of using high percentage of sugar and salts in prison food, in order gradually kill the political prisoners.

The occupier US Government, besides shedding blood in many countries of the world in close collaboration with its local vile minions, is committing crime against US citizens as well. The repression of recent protests in different states of USA shows that the US Govt. is not acting better than the murderous dictators of Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and Iran. They all carry the same nefarious essence.

Abu-Jamal stood up against the unjust system to get his basic rights, but faced further discrimination, abuse and finally imprisoned and sentenced to death to silence him, as he himself says: “Prison is a second-by-second assault on the soul, a day-to-day degradation of the self, an oppressive steel and brick umbrella that transforms seconds into hours and hours into days.” The autocratic regime of US forgets that wherever is oppression, there is resistance.

The Solidarity Party of Afghanistan (SPA), in chorus with tormented and freedom-loving people of Afghanistan, vehemently condemns the atrocities against Mumia Abu-Jamal and other political prisoners around the world, and calls upon all progressive forces and individuals of world to stand up, as one clenched fist, for urgent release of Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Fighting for Abu-Jamal is fighting for humanity!

The Motherland Simmers in Blood and Betrayal – Silence Is Shameful!

Seventh and eighth Saur are two calamitous days in the blood-drenched history of our homeland which are permanently associated with criminality and devastation and can be never forgotten.

On 7th Saur 1352 (27 April 1978), top dogs of both Khalq and Parcham factions of the KGB-hatched PDPA opened the way for the Soviet invasion of our country, which, in addition to destroying the country and forcing the exodus of entire populations from vast swathes of rural areas, shed the blood of 1.5 million people. With the victory of the Islamist mujahedin on 8th Saur 1371 (28 April 1992), not only was the end-result of the sacrifices of the 14 years of anti-Russian war of resistance squandered, but, more calamitously, Afghanistan was turned into a blood-bath and a land of ruins. The 8th Saur hordes ravaged the entire infrastructure and the backbone of the superstructure of the country and launched a brutal systematic assault on the life and honor of our countrymen, especially of our women.

Gathering to condemn the brutal killing of Farkhunda in Kabul

(CNN)An Amnesty International report is calling for authorities to address the number of attacks on women's rights activists in Afghanistan.

The report, entitled "Their Lives on the Line," examines the persecution of activists and other champions of women's rights not only by the Taliban and tribal warlords, but also by government officials.

The Motherland Simmers in Blood and Betrayal – Silence Is Shameful!

As was foreseeable, with the imposition by the US of the “National Terror Government” on our people, Afghanistan is daily sinking into a miasma of barbarity and agonizing misery. Poverty, unemployment, corruption and bullying of the population by the thugocracy on the one hand, and escalation of the war, explosions and suicide bombings on the other hand, have made life wretched for our mortified people.

Following the barbaric lynching of Farkhunda, news of the heart-rending incidents of the slaughter of our compatriots in Badakhshan, Helmand, Balkh, Ghazni, Khost, Nangarhar, Kabul, Farah and elsewhere around the country have spread a dark cloud of suffocation and death in the skies of our country. The kidnapping of 31 of our destitute compatriots, the grisly beheading of Afghan National Army soldiers à la ISIS in Badakhshan, and the infamous nonchalance of Abdullah-Ghani & Co. towards these atrocities have steeped our people all over the country in revulsion against this putrid and corrupt government.

Afghans demand justice for Farkhunda wrongly accused of burning the Koran and killed by mob

SPA Gathering to Seek Justice for Farkhunda

Protesters want justice for the Afghan scholar brutally killed as police say 13 policemen suspended amid allegations they did nothing to stop the attack

Hundreds of Afghans have protested in Kabul to demand justice for a woman who was killed by a mob outside one of the capital's most famous mosques.

The woman, a 28-year-old religious scholar named Farkhunda, was beaten, pushed from a roof, run over by a car and set alight before her body was thrown in the Kabul River last Thursday.

She was wrongly accused of burning the Koran was beaten with sticks, run over by a car, and burned to death by men. On Monday, Noorulhaq Ulumi, the interior minister, told MPs during questioning in parliament the accusation was "invalid".

Farkhunda

Once again a most horrendous atrocity against a woman, happening not a kilometer away from the presidential palace, shocked all those with a wakeful conscience. Twenty-eight year old Farkhunda was hacked to death and her torn body was incinerated in the presence of the police by predatory ignoramuses on the unsubstantiated allegation that she had burned the Koran. This inhuman act was publicly endorsed by Mullah Niazi, Simin Ghazal Hasanzada, Hashmat Stanikzai, Zalmai Zabuli and a number of other creatures, but the reality is that a large number of criminals and ignoramuses who fill the ranks of so-called government officials thoroughly enjoyed the atrocity. Fortunately, however, the perfidy and treachery of these merchants of faith have been well known since decades to the majority of our people. Through their speedy reaction against this Hitlerite action and through raising their voices in unison, our people shut the snouts of the pulpit rats of the Abdullah-Ghani monstrosity-of-a-government and their felonious hangers-on, such that they retreated in shame and disgrace to the silence of their lairs.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Terrorist attack on school children in Peshawar

In the wake of blind suicide bombings and carnage of our innocent people, the recent horrifying massacre of school children in Peshawar fills the heart of every feeling and conscientious human being with immense sorrow. The ruthless killing of some 150 innocent children and the wounding of over 130 others by the Taliban barbarians have revealed for the thousandth time the depth of the depravity of these anachronistic monsters.

Notwithstanding the fact that the targeted school had been established by the Pakistani Army, to the best of our understanding children of the poorest layers of society were studying there. The victims of this incident were youngsters with childhood dreams, unacquainted with prejudice or discrimination, who had no role in the ongoing events of their society. They by no means deserved such a horrendous fate.

YPJ Female Fighter

Since many weeks the indomitable people of Kobani, including women and men, old and young, have been standing heroically and stalwartly against the hordes of ignorance and terror. Such steadfastness has gained them the support of freedom-loving and upstanding peoples around the world. There have been widespread demonstrations of solidarity with the defenders of Kobani in all major cities of the world, despite the fact that the so-called free world and the western media have largely ignored them.

What makes the Kobani movement an outstanding and awe-inspiring example to the world is the presence of armed women, veritable lionesses, in the forefront of the battles. Those determined women, aware of their place in legend and in history, fearless, hearts brimming with love, stand, fight and die side by side with their men, but will not give up their homeland to stone-age murderers. The radiant example of Kurdish women in Kobani is a great lesson in love of country and of humanity for all captive nations enthralled by puppet regimes, especially for organizations of freedom-loving women. A people united will never be defeated!

Injured child by NATO air strike in Kunar

Thirteen years have been passed since the occupation of Afghanistan by US invaders and its allies. The occupation was conceived through the sanguinary conspiracy of 9/11; it started with the thunder of B52s flying under UN and NATO flags and reached its ultimate goal with the signing of the enslavement document by US minions in the Afghan Presidential Palace. During the traitorous Bonn conference and under the convenient excuse of the “war on terror”, restoring “democracy”, “human rights” and “reconstruction”, the US imposed the tried and tested enemies of our nation, which it had trained over a lifetime, on the bruised shoulders of our people. The result has been multiple re-run episodes of bloodshed, devastation, rapacity, poverty, and flourishing barbarism. The occupation only fattened a bunch of felons and traitors to the motherland and converted them into billionaires.

Only a few months after the onslaught, the US administration announced that terrorism had been defeated and the Taliban had been consigned to the dustbin of history. However, after the passage of 13 years, this ignorant vampire group has re-emerged, stronger than before, in 32 out of 34 provinces of the country and daily terrorize our people and commit untold atrocities.
